Cool Senior Store Expands, Becomes EZ Living Aids
Feb. 11, 2005 Frequent visitors to
SeniorJournal.com are probably well aware of the Cool Senior Store, a
long-time advertiser. The owner, Harris Communications, is now expanding
the site to include more products to make living easier for those of all
ages, who need a little help with everyday task. They are also changing
the Website name to
www.ezlivingaids.com, to better reflect the wider array of products
they now offer.
Having low vision, hearing loss, or decreased manual
dexterity should not inhibit anyone from going about their daily activities.
There are products that can assist you with your everyday tasks, says the
statement from Harris about the expansion.
The new website
www.ezlivingaids.com is still for seniors, but now it is also for caregivers
and anyone needing daily living aids to help maintain independence.
Harris Communications has been selling products to deaf and
hard-of-hearing products for over 20 years. More recently, the product line has
broadened to include daily living aids for those with low vision and mobility
impairments.
Ezlivingaids.com carries products that are easy-to-use but
can make a big difference in quality of life, says Harris.
Whether it is a magnifier to help you with reading, a TV
listening system to help you enjoy a TV program, or a Handybar to help you get
in and out of your car, the goal is to promote independence.
For those trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle, there are
books and videos to educate on issues such as managing hearing loss, healthy
aging and Alzheimers disease.
For those who are caregivers, there are educational
resources as well as products to assist a loved one in living independently.
The goal of
www.ezlivingaids.com is to have the products you need to help maintain
independence. If you cant find something you are looking for, let us know and
we will try to find it for you, they say.
Ezlivingaids.com also offers a free newsletter and
annual catalog.
They also have a showroom in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area,
only 12 miles away from the Mall of America.
A map is available here.
