Senior Citizens, Baby Boomers Can Save up to Half on
Europe Sailings
MSC Cruises offering discounts to 50 and over
March 22, 2007 - Senior Citizens and Baby Boomers,
age 50 or older, can save more than 40 percent - and as much as 51
percent - off retail rates on selected 2007 Europe sailings of MSC
Cruises' ships, according to an announcement by the Fort Lauderdale
company yesterday.
The Senior Saver prices are available on bookings
made through April 30. Prices begin at $745 for Mediterranean cruises
and $1,095 for Northern European cruises. All rates are per person,
double occupancy (cruise only, not including government fees and taxes).
Restrictions apply. At least one guest in the stateroom must be 50 years
of age on the departure date, the company says.
"This is an extremely affordable way for seniors
and baby boomers to experience Europe with a cruise line whose roots are
in Europe," says Richard E. Sasso, president and CEO of MSC Cruises USA.
Senior Saver rates are available on selected MSC
Cruises' sailings in both Northern Europe and the Mediterranean,
including MSC Orchestra, the line's newest ship, which begins sailing
7-night roundtrip itineraries from Venice to Greece and Turkey this
spring, and MSC Musica, offering 7-night Western Mediterranean
itineraries.
In Northern Europe, Senior Saver rates are
available on 7-night Baltic Capitals and Norwegian Fjords sailings of
MSC Opera and MSC Lirica.
On each itinerary, guests will be surrounded by the
line's 'Beautiful. Passionate. Italian.' cruise experience, including
the elegant dιcor, authentic Italian cuisine, European ambiance, and
exceptional service found onboard every MSC Cruises' ship.
