in the western region of the United States.
Classic Residence by Hyatt is committed to bringing
the highest quality of senior living to older adults across the
country, said Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and Mergers Matt
Phillips. One of our goals is to grow our company through the
development of high-end continuing care retirement communities. Our
new Salt Lake City office extends the current market coverage of our
Sarasota, Fla., and Chicago, Ill., offices. Currently, Classic
Residence has 15 operating communities and three communities under
development at locations in ten states nationwide.
Heading up the Salt Lake City office is Vice President
of Development Alan Cottle. The founder and former chief executive
officer of Cottle Corporation, Cottle brings to Classic Residence more
than 20 years of expertise in real estate acquisitions and
development. He has additional experience as chairman and founder of
the long-term health care company Infinia Health Care, where he was
responsible for all acquisitions and property development. Under his
guidance over three years, the company expanded to include 22

Classic Residence by Hyatt is the national leader in
providing a continuum of living for older adults who desire a vibrant
lifestyle with peace of mind, Cottle said. The opportunity to help
lead the expansion of a company with such proven success is
tremendously appealing to me, and I am thrilled to be a part of the
Classic Residence team.
Cottle earned his bachelor of arts degree in business
and finance from the University of Utah, where he minored in
