Nov. 30, 2004 - SeniorJournal.com has received many
emails concerning a mailing to senior citizens by the American Senior
Alliance, but no one has been able to locate this company, which make
excessively enticing promises in the mailing. We suggest seniors not
respond to the mailing.
Below is a copy of the card this organization is
mailing. The return address is at the bottom of this page. The return card asks for personal information, including age,
spouse's age, a phone number and your county.

We are highly suspicious of this mailing, which
obviously wants the targeted recipient's phone number to make a sales
call of some sort.

Below are a few of the emails we have received.
Emails About American Senior Alliance
We received a
"request for information" form. They have our address and want our
ages, phone number and county. They offer to send the "2004 Elder Law
Update". Some of their claims appear to be contradictory to our
understanding of federal law.
My father recieved
a mailing entitled "2004 ELDER LAW UPDATE". There is a reply card
attached to request information that is to be mailed to American Senior
Alliance at a PO Box in Marietta, GA.
Looked fishy to me,
especially since the person requesting the information had to sign the
reply card. Your web site came up when I did a search for American
Senior Alliance. I have attached a copy of both sides of this mailing.
As I said, looked fishy to me. Hope this will help someone get
information about this organization.
My
mother received one of their letters and i have not been able to locate
them either.
Here's what I got
in the mail today. This 2004 ELDER LAW UPDATE sounds to good to be
true. I did not send in the request as I don't believe that
legislation was passed.
My husband received
a Request for Information form from this organization. e would be happy
to fax a copy to you if you need to see what they are ailing out.
We too were unable
to find anything on the internet regarding them, nohing.
Their form requests
a signature, my husband’s age, my age, phone number and a county.
Do you have anymore
information about this organization or have a sample of their mailings?

My husband received
a mailer from American Senior Alliance last week.
The mailer
indicated that Congress has passed legislation that standardizes
entitlement provisions for people 65 and over. It listed 3 specific
enefits. We would like to know more about this legislation, if true.
Since your website
indicates American Senior Alliance may be a fraudulent
company, could you tell us where we could learn more about the above
mentioned legislation? Thank you for your help.
